Juz went to Sexpo 2006 with Phil & Wilson ... overall a boring experience ... No photography allowed .. But we managed to get a pose of Phil with the big billboard as a Sex Pervert ...

The $10 Entrance fee came with a Goodie Bag , that consisted of some health Magazines , brochures , a box of Wisdom Condoms ( Aiyo .. Duno what brand .. I dun think people dare to use ) .. and a mini Silicon Penis Ring ... A bag full of Useful Stuff for the wrong person ...

Walked around Sexpo ... Was really quite disappointed . Maybe it was the overhype ... or high expectations or just my wild imagination .. that made me think I rather donate my $10 to some Charity .

Most of the booths were selling Vibrators , dildoes ..Vaginal Lubricants , along with other stores selling erotic /adult novels , Karmasutra 101 ways of Tantric Sex and even a ProODential booth selling Insurance !!
What the hell ? What do they insure against ?? They pay out to clients who have Erectile Dysfunction ?? The Sexpo was quite obviously lacking in content ( You could See booths displaying Sweets of naked bodies in their showcases , Condoms , lubricants etc .. ).. a stark Contrast compared to our COMEX / SITEX Shows Of course ..

The little highlights of the Sexpo was really nothing much ... queued 30 mins for a 2 mins " Erotic dance" Show .. got ushered into a small booth , with 5 bar seats ... Sat there like " blur sotongs" while 2 young Aunties strutted out in stockings and started their pole-rubbing ..

They danced , gyrated against the poles , nothing really dirty , albeit for the occasional showing of their butts and a little sensual sway of their hips ... $5.00 ... what do you expect ?? LoLz ... luckily I went Phuket's Thai Girl Show with SunShine a few years back .. and Saw better stuff ... Arbo I guess I would have thought that the girls in the booth were Good ..

I guess its a good effort to initiate such an exhibition in Singapore .. but I guess the exhibitions would have to come up with more interesting exhibits / items... or even softcore nudity . COME ON !! They set the age limit @ 21 years ... and they only display vibrators , dildoes , sweets resembling the vagina & penis , and they call themselves a Sexpo ?

I guess we can do much better than this ....

Spent the weekend in quite a boring way ..... SunShine is busy mugging for exams ... So Gonna wait for her to finish up the exams , before we pack up for Taipei Again !! YEAH !! Going back 2nd time to Taipei in 5 Months !! Exactly 5 months from July 2006 when we went !

Took the chance to catch up with the guys ... But Sadly , JR was sick and down ... Decided to cancel off the dbl O outing ... I really miss clubbing @ Zouk Mambo nights , and Saturday Retro nights @ dbl O ...

Must really do it again soon .... Money can be earned back ... but the clubbing experience that I used to enjoy with Phil and JR ... we dont get it that often do we ? Thats what I call the right Company.

To do certain activities ... we need the right crowd . Once we have the winning formula , we stick to it ! I guess thats how friendship is formed ...

Had an uber Good day today ... everything went well and smooth ....

Attended my 1st ever Microsoft Partners' Event with SiS Technologies today . I have been working on & off @ SiS Technologies Pte Ltd for a year liaoz .. and I have been calling the resellers , knowing them by names & not faces ... So I FINALLY GOT TO MEET SOME OF THEM TODAY !!

It was an eye opener event ...with many distributors , sponsors, resellers attending the Microsoft Brief ... we had a mini Lucky Draw , and the resellers would come to our booth to redeem our prizes .. and that gave me the chance to know them better , putting a face to their names ...

Of Special Mention was Mr Micah Heng from X-net . He was really amazing .. He took the initiative to approach me and said : " You are Marcus right ? " I am Mr Micah.

I was taken aback and pleasantly surprised. Spoke to Mr Micah face to face sometime back , but I forgot his face ..

And to top it up ... after 4 hours of boring Microsoft briefings ... Mr Micah actually came back to bid me Goodbye .. and told me to " take care of myself." Sounds like no big deal u may think. But the fact that he took the effort to remember me .. a PART-TIMER ... and even came back to personally wave me Goodbye .. really warmed my heart alot ... All the hard work calling the resellers have not gone to waste !

Had a good idea looking around @ the IT industry .. looking @ the marketing people do their PR ... looking @ the sales people pitching for their products ..and of course had a great time interacting with my resellers .. And it was another chance for me to hone my Inter-personal skills again .. to bravely speak to strangers ... I guess I have no problem with speaking to strangers .. as I have previously promoted Dopod phones ...

Went Lunch with Veron @ Marina Sq .. Very Different feeling as I always wenT MS in the nights .. Lunch crowd was full of Office Execs .. and the view @ the food court looking out to Marina Prom .. was really great ...

Feeling of working is juz sOoO DiFFerenT ... So DiFFerenT from School ..

Had a good day @ the arcades too ... went to Marina Sq to play Sega After Burner Climax ... I managed to clear Stage 6 on 1 Credit !! I crashed and burned @ Stage 7 ... but I was really So excited as this is the first time that I managed to clear 6 stages without " being taken off the skies "

A rather restless day @ Work ... Got restless from calling all the irrelevant people ...

I liken my job to fishing ... I Fish ( call ) for Leads ( big fishes ) ... On a Good day .. I can get 13 big fishes ( 13 request for Quotations .. ) ... and I somehow like this job , for the satisfaction of getting a catch everyday ..

But today apparently wasnt a very good day to start with ...

Woke up in time ... Bathed , washed up in time , got to Bishan MRT station in time ... only to STARE BLANKLY @ 2 FUCKING Trains pass by me .. before I got onto the 3rd one.

What really peeved me off , was the Passengers/Commuters ( Army Term : ClusterFuck ) Gather around @ the entrance ... while the middle of the Cabin was literally spacious enuff to fit myself & @ least 5 more adults in. It is a vicious Cycle ... IT Happens everyday ! Every Peak Hour Train !

They should launch a " THERE-IS-NO-GHOST-IN-THE-MIDDLE-OF-CABIN" Campaign ... to educate everyone to move in ! Middle Got Ghost ah ?

Because of the Selfish people @ the entrances , Unlucky Commuters get stuck on the platform while the train moves oFF without filling up to REASONABLE Capacity ! I hear People Complain that it is very cramped ... But WTF .. They are all @ the entrances ! When the doors open , More people try to perform Stunts by juz Pushing and Shoving their way in ... but Still ... NOT MANY move to the middle of the car !

To Make things worst ... When the train stops @ the next station , The people crowding @ the entrances DO NOT BUDGE or step out to allow other passengers to alight ... They juz Stand there , with a Regimented Duty of being the DOOR-God ... making it difficult for other passengers to alight ...WHY??!! because they are afraid of being punished for being kind-hearted ... I was kind-hearted and GOT PUNISHED on a few occasions , to be a gracious passenger ...

I stepped out to allow other passengers to alight ... Only to find myself stuck on the platform while other passengers boarded the train. So what does it teach you ?? IT DOESNT PAY TO BE KIND !!

If Only We were all Programmed like robots , to be gracious and considerate .. to Shift in into the middle to allow other commuters to board ... And step out to allow passengers to alight , and give way to alighting passengers ... the MRT would be really a World-class transport ...Fuck . I must be dreaming ...

Took Bus 111 to Orchard to Meet the Tiger & Shizhen for dinner ... Was onboard the bus , minding my own business .. but not for long ... when i heard a distinct "Cick , Cick , Cick" sound .

My Jaws juz dropped .

This Auntie was happily grooming herself .. trimming her nails on the bus ... I watched in amazement as she steadily clipped clipped clipped each finger skilfully ... The nail-clipper gave a very distinct crisp click as she skilfully clipped each nail 4 times .

After She finished her left hand , She started on the right ... I watched on ... only to find her nonchalantly sweeping all her "body parts" off her clothes , onto the seat .. and onto the floor .

I was So "impressed that I had the urge to take oFF my Shoes and ask : " Auntie .. can you trim my toenails for me ?"

NO !!! I Was really pissed @ her that I had the urge to shame her infront of everyone ... or simply take off my shoes and really ask her to clip my toenails since she is already So Buay paiseh to trim her own !!

Trimming of nails is personal grooming , juz like trimming of nasal ( Nose ) hair , Or Digging of Nose ... can u imagine her leaving her nail bits all over the seat and on the floor >??!! The gravity of this incident is akin to An Auntie digging her nose & sticking the "Pi-sai" on the seat !! Its the same right ? Its all from their body .. and they happily leave it behind for the next passenger !!

With such "world-class" passengers , its No wonder Our "World-class" transport becomes second class ...

TGIF = The GST IS FUCKED-UP !

More and More MSN nicks are showing signs of dissent against the raising of GST from 5 % to 7% ...

I woke up this morning , comforting myself that it was TGIF ( Thank God Its Friday , But I have NO Religion ) .. suddenly Something Struck me on the Head and out came :

TGIF = THE GST IS FUCKED-UP !

The more I ponder over the reasons given , the more I think it reeks of Shit . Shitty reasons given. HE said it was better to raise GST now .. when the economy was doing well .. then doing it when the economy was bad ...

LOGICAL right ? Better to let the citizens curse , swear , suck it up & pay more for GST now , rather than to Curse , Swear & vote for the Opposition when the GST is raised when everyone's cash strings are tighter !

And isnt it a brilliant idea ? as all fare hikes / price increases go .. and as my MacroEcons Lecturer says ... When the Gahmen plays tax rates , Once it increases , it STAYS & NEVER GETS REDUCED ... because during bad times , if they reduce taxes , WE WILL REVOLT when They increase taxes during Good times ! And its difficult to raise what you have previously reduced !

So Its better to Slowly but SURELY Increase Taxes over a period of time . Just like from 3% to 5 % .. and next 7% . And I got a gut feeling the NEXT GST HIKE would be 3% to make it a PERFECT 10% ... And they would probably cite reasons like : Oh 10% simpler to count mah !! more convenient !!! 10% of $10 is $1 !

And within this year ... Monkey See .. Monkey do .. ComFort Announces Fare Hike due to rising Oil prices , Followed by SBS ... And NOW EVEN Stamps & Postal Services cost you more money !! Now Stamps Cost $0.25 instead of $0.22 !!

Notice the trend ?? One fare hike announcement becomes reluctantly "accepted" by the public ... Soon after , another monkey follows , and announces a increase in prices ... " due to Rising Oil prices " , and they tell you confusing numbers & statistics & figures like : " OH .. the last price increase / fare hike was how many XX donkey years ago ..." & tell us how their price hikes are So minimal & Justified .

YAH RIGHT ! These companies are either industry Giants ( Think Comfort / SBS ) ... or Monopoly ( Singapore Postal Service ) ... What Can we do when they tell us : " Eh .. We wanna increase prices ? XX year was the last time I increase ... Now I need more! " Who are the ones providing the statistical figures ?? Its them ! Who has the time to verify the authenticity of the data these companies release ?!!

@ the end of the day , these "Public" transport Services & public services report rising costs each year & yet report tidy & steadily Increasing Profits every year ...

Slowly .. but Surely ... more and more companies will try stunts .. which will probably be " accepted " by us Singaporeans ... We can only LPPL & Suck it up . and juz P.A.P ( Pay And Pay ) ..

Went to play Initial D alone @ Bishan Arcade after work today ... Had a Good Run .. Bettered my own record in IRO downHill , was happily driving away , when I got distracted by a hand suddenly reaching out from my left side .

I was shocked and distracted , when a little boy ( primary School ) placed his SPORTS DAY trophy on my "dashboard" .. to Reserve his seat ...

I Was UBER PISSED & IRRITATED .. because the Initial D machine beside mine was EMPTY ! And he distracted me by shocking me with his hand ... with his trophy blocking my view of the " virtual " Road map ahead...

After I finished the game ... I was about to Walk away ... when the little boy ( Tanned face with a snobbish look ) said : Uncle .. Wanna challenge me or not ?

I decided not to use my Subaru GDB ( Level 18 ) ... and chose a STOCK GDB ( unmodified Level 1 ) to challenge him ......while he took a Level 1 RX-8 .... It wasnt a close fight .. as I won him quite easily ...

The disgruntled bugger-0f-a-little boy then DECIDED TO TAKE OUT his LEVEL 13 GDB to challenge my unmodified Level 1 GDB ..

He ended up losing the 2nd game as well ...

I continued my free game thanks to him ... until I heard him telling his friend ... who came to watch me play ... : "WAh CHEEBYE ... I Lost to this person ( Me ) twice ... CHEEBYE ... He using Level 01 GDB win me ... I use Level 13 GDB ... He win me again .CHEEBYE ."

I Nearly Turned around to tell him to watch his mouth ... but told myself to forget it ... No point arguing with a kid ... I won my games through my own skills and won it even when it was my Level 1 vs his Level 13 ...

My Thoughts : Many kids Nowadays are very ill-bred ... I have encountered numerous kiddoes who are not even above 16 ... acting like they own the world .. rowdy .. behaving like Ah bengs ... ( And I thought Ah bengs were dead ) ... Manners are very much lacking and they behave just like many ugly adult Singaporeans. I shudder @ the thought of thinking these are the future generations of Singaporeans? And they seem to emulate the adults! Fuck.

The awkward silence was broken by 2 aunties yelling @ each other . I couldnt See them ... but their Conversation was DVD-Quality Clear . And Sadly .. I could Identify the race. Chinese Auntie Vs Malay AunTie .

Story is Malay Auntie somehow stepped on the chinese Auntie's foot . In my Perspective , the Chinese AunTie threw a big fuss , saying So what if you Say Sorry ? Sorry what ? you stepped my foot ! I juz had a feeling the Chinese auntie was alittle racist ...

Singaporeans are getting edgy ... We are surrounded by FOREIGNERS ... WE Face LONG hours @ Work with miserable salaries ... We pay Good money to Squeeze into trains & buses ... We pay ever-raising GST for duno what purposes .. Everyone is frustrated ...but helpless ...

We can juz follow what the Gahmen say in PARIAH-ment ... and follow like obedient citizens ... juz to Pay And Pay ( P.A.P) more ... Because Gahmen says Pay more = long run Good ... Good my foot .

Make Drivers Pay COE for cars to "make" it more difficult for people to own cars .... but does it deter Singaporeans who are just concerned about getting their 5Cs ?? People juz work Harder to earn more money ... Increasing GDP ... and BUY THEIR CARS .. Then The Gahmen reduce COE prices ... and implement ERP ... and planting ERP all around the island...

The world sees Singapore as a peaceful & stable country ... with good leaders governing .. and Good Law-abiding Citizens... But I think we are Fucking Dead Duckies ...

We went to Xin Wang HK Cafe @ Marina Square... The environment was good for chats as usual .. and we guys juz talked cock all the way , through the food , and yakked away ...poking fun @ each other ..

Shopped & walked around , before we Got itchy-handed and relived our Good ol' days @ the arcade ... where we spent COUNTLESS Saturdays before we all got attached ... Whereby Every Saturday was Initial D Mania ... and then Dbl O ....

You Really get a GreaT Feeling of being a Fighter Pilot , as You fly through Stages , Dodging missiles & Engaging Enemy Fighter Planes in dogfights ... and When you control the joysticks , your Seat even Sways around , simulating movement !

TOTALLY AWESOME ! ... Wilson , Phil & me totally got hooked !! There is Team Play mode whereby you get to fly Tag Team ... with your friend as your Wingman ... Covering your back ... For $2.00 per flight ... its really quite an adrenaline Rush ...

Went Home tired but Happy ..... Its really been awhile ... Its been a fulfilling week ... meeting up with my groups of buddies ... catching up ...

Its been quite a great week ... I have been shopping and spending like CRAZY ... See anything I like = BUY ... Crave for Good Food = Eat .

Went for Sakae Sushi Buffet @ FUNAN IT MALL after work , with SunShine , WeeWee & Shawna ... Queued like Blardy 45 mins to get seats in the restaurant ... ended up squeezing ourselves into a booth meant for 2 persons.

The Food was only average ... And limited compared to SAKURA BUFFET .

We paid $26 per pax ... Baby Octopus was missing , The VERY IMPORTANT SALMON SASHIMI wasnt in the list ... No Tempura ... And Drinks were additional charges . I am starting to miss Sakura Buffets ... No more Sakae Sushi Buffets for me ... NO NO NO .

Another day that I have been looking forward to . Azman was having his Annual Hari Raya Open House. Its been quite long since we Gang Of Brothers and Beatty NPCC people gathered up ...

Woke up "early enough" @ 1335 in the afternoon ... to go over to help Azman with Food preparation & to buy Ismadi's cake .. Raining Cats & Dogs ... but still , we drove over to Toa Payoh to shop for cake & food ...

Phil , Madi , Myself , Ronny , Mable , Meiru , Adelene , YQ , Boon & YanFang attended Azman's Open House this year ...

There was a major Hari Raya Food Fest as Azman & his mum worked real hard to prepare our Yearly Favourites like Beef Rendang , Mee Siam , Fried Chix Wings Muslim Style .. Veg Dumplings , And Sayur Popiah ( Vegetable Spring Rolls ) ...

We ended the night as nearly 35 of us ( inclusive of Azman's biker friends) celebrated Ismadi's 25th Birthday with a Song and a simple cake-cutting ceremony ...

~~ Its very comforting to be back in the company of my buddies whom I have known since my Secondary School days... These NPCC people have Gone through THICK & THIN with me .. as Cadet Inspectors during our Area 6 NPCC days .. We have all been busy , and it is only through such events & gatherings that we gather together to chat & catch up with one another ... and it is through these years , that we have seen each and every one of us grow up ...

Went to meet up with CK , Angel & SunShine ( who managed to meet us after her revisions) after the gathering .. for Prata @ WestCoast Road .... Had a Good meal and chat over prata .... KuKu Angel was sOooO Disciplined ... Insisted on counting every gram of fat that we consumed ... She ended up Droolingz while we enjoyed our prata ....

Woke up early today again ... to meet up with Ismadi , Boon , YQ , Adelene & Azman @ Plaza Singapura ... for a Pizza Hut treat from Ismadi .

Well ... the Hawaiian Pizza & SeaFood Pizzas were quite tasty , as always with Pizza Hut's standards and reputation as the largest Pizza Chain in the world ..... Until I heard Adelene getting very irritated and disgusted .

She had Seen a particular waitress using the table cloth to wipe the tables clean ... AND USING THE SAME TABLE CLOTH to WIPE the utensils @ other tables !! I was really quite shocked to hear that , as we were very engrossed in our conversations ...

A Messy Table = Big project on the way ! I love Handicrafts & creating things ..Went around buying stuffs these few days ... Gathering Materials ...Quite a challenging project ! hahah ... I still have a few Special Forces Soldiers model kits left unpainted .. 2 Helicopters unassembled .. Its Gonna be a Fun-Filled holiday for me !!! WoOoHoooO !!

2nd Day of Work

Its the 2nd day back @ work ... started on Wednesday ...Quite happy to be back @ SiS ... The colleagues are still very warm and friendly , although many of my colleagues have left .. But familiar faces were quick to greet me with a smile and a warm welcome ...I did half a day's work with Calvin , then happily took a 2 hour lunch break which included a trip to IKEA .. and then given the 2nd half of the day OFF ...

Thursday was OFF day because veron needed to prepare my stuff & I was also in need of a Good break ... Literally slept the day away !!

Today is also a fairly relaxing day ...So relaxing my colleagues were so envious that I was so free ... 1st half of the day was settling down @ my desk .. I lost my old desk to a pretty girl Account Manager , now I am sitting opposite her ... bLah ...Cannot be bothered ..as its really quite boring that I have to call my resellers again . But miraculously , my previous emails to them were still intact ! So I Juz had to inform them that I am back in my job ! And glad that many of them still remember me ! So it made my job easier

WooOsahh ... its a good way to pass the day !!

ITS FINALLY OVER !!!

YES !!! Its Finally over !!! Exams are Over !!!

No more Burning Midnight Oil @ AMK Macdonalds !! .. !! NO More SWEETENING Iced Lemon Tea ( I juz got SoOO Sick of Macdonalds's Super Sweet Iced Lemon Tea) ... Spent 3 nights mugging til dawn , and 2 day sessions @ AMK's various Macdonald outlets ... Super freaked out by Macdonalds' ...

Preparations for Exams was really demoralising ...

Accumulation of Shit -- Defined as the accumulation of work to be revised last min. Student has to revise up to 17 Chapters ( marketing ) , 11 Chapters (Accounting ) , 5 chapters (MacroEconomics) , and trying to reunderstand or Understanding the chapter FOR THE 1st Time.

I learnt a very big lesson in revising my work early & executing proper time management , and making it a point to understand EACH lecture .. instead of trying to play God in trying to summarise the chapters in 2 days .

Mood was terrible during the exams period .... I suffered fatigue and ironically , INSOMNIA due to nervousness and worrying about the unknown ... I tossed & turned in bed each night , wondering what to do if I failed my exams ... jumping up from weird nightmares , hearing voices asking me what is Accounts Payable for the Year Ended 05 DEC XX ... wtf ...

I went without food for long hours without feeling a slight tinge of hunger ... surviving only on Iced Lemon Tea & the occasional morsels of Food ... I pity my half bowl of Bah Chor Mee & 3/4 untouched Fried Chicken Rice ...


I SURVIVED THE EXAMS FOR SEM 01 !! NOW , I shall only be waiting for the moment of Truth !! On DEC 06 2006 ... when my efforts will come to light ....

Newton Food Circus

Went with CK , angel & SunShine to the newly renovated Newton Food Circus to check out the new Hawker centre ...Very Good impression of the revamped Hawker centre ...

Angel said die die must try out the Zi char Stall featuring an auntie with an " exploded" hairstyle ... And So we did ... by luck , "Explosive Hair Auntie" walked past us 3 times !! and we waved her over ...

After much recommendations ... we decided on Kailan with Oyster Sauce , Calamari ( our Must-have ) , Sambal StingRay ( In Revenge for Steve ), stir-fried tofu & Oyster Omelette



Total Damage came up to $64 ... $16 per pax ... abit scary ... but still acceptable , considering its a tourist attraction , and the portions were still reasonable ...

Observed that Newton Food Centre was using lots of foam plates , cups , bowls ... it was really quite scary to know how much foam plates are thrown away everyday ... coz it inevitably causes harm to our environment ..

Was quite bored ... So went Roaming around , decided to go to Changi Airport .. to See See look Look ... Really quite bored people for the night , as we have travelled around town ... ( Singapore Aint big , and there are no night markets like Taipei ) .. So it gets boring now and then ...

Juz waiting around for the girls outside the toilet , ended up getting snapped

Got uber bored again ... I decided to bring them to another famous stretch of "couple-couple " spots along ECP ... famous for having cars with newspaper sheets spreaded out all over their windows ...

Once went with Azman , Yongquan and phil ... we accidentally saw a girl giving a guy a Good blowj*b ... The guy was SoOooOO high ... he didnt bother about us watching as the girl's head went bobbling up & down ...

but Sadly ... yesterday was a generally covered up event ...

I really am starting to agree with Kok Fai ... that During Exams , One tends to have diahorrea more often than not ...

My 3rd "L....Sai " today .... and the feeling isnt really good ... Damn ... its Gonna be the last paper then the L....Sai come ?? But anyway ... Its "CERTIFIED TRUE" by Marcus ... coz really .. when Me having my exams .. I eat lesser ... I Sleep lesser ... and the " Business Deals " ain't normal .

AH NEE WEI .... 2 papers down , 1 paper left to go ... before I start work @ SiS again .. WOoOOOHOOooO I need THE CASH ... I am running low on cash ..

Its really painful when you have only $2.40 @_@ STARING at you in your account . I remember this magical amount , because that was the amount I had ..when I was an NSF .. Where my money go ?? Marlboro .. Viceroy , bottles and bottles of Vodka ... and of course my Favourite Chivas ... But I miss those days ... and of course the boozing and clubbing company ... MOney cannot replace those people and memories ..

When i reached the library ... I realised that Calvin and I were wearing SIMILAR shirts !! WAHAHHA ... we both wore the same shirt without arranging for it !!! Nah .. it wasnt embarrassing ...Transformers was one of my fav cartoons when I was young !!!

Spent the whole afternoon @_@ at the notes ... suddenly the MacroEcons notes look very foreign ..and I have problems understanding what I wrote ... Jia lat Jia lat Jia lat ...
