Ex TaipeiWalker III - Day 1-- Updated

Alritey ... after such a long delay .. been 2 weeks plus since we came back from Ex TaipeiWalker III ... Finally willing to blog about the trip .. accepted the fact that we are back in Hot Hot Hot Singapore again ...





Back to School .. Back to Work and Back to reality ..And we are all facing the Taipei Withdrawal symptoms .. Just too difficult to kick the cravings and habits ...


Ex TaipeiWalker III - Day 1 Singapore >>> Taipei CKS International Airport ...

Woke up super bright and early as per usual habits when going to Taipei .. Cant sleep the night before as always .. excited to be going back to Taipei again .. and Excited to See Zu(3) ren(4) again ..

Checked in the Luggage and proceeded to buy some Singapore goodies for Zu(3) ren(4) ... Like pandan cake , Tiger Beer .. but too bad Kaya couldnt be brought onboard .. together with other drinks .. Damn the rules .. Why ? I tell you why later .

I think I was quite Suay .. Borrowed a super tall camera tripod from my daddy , only to have one of its legs broken at Changi Airport ! Damn .. Haven even start the trip .. Nin nia eh .. the tripod leg breaks .. probably due to years of storage without usage ...

Didnt cook "ai xin" breakfast for my 3 women this time round .. so we settled breakfast at BK .. No $ for advertising their name .. So heck it .. Chowed down the burgers and drinks asap before proceeding JUST IN TIME to board the plane .. We have a habit of utilising time til the very very last minute .. gets stressful in Taipei especially when we have to catch trains ..

Another 4 Hours plus trip ... everyone is well prepared since its our 3rd trip .. and we planned games , Movies to kill time ... but but but .. We all somehow slept like logs !! And we were lucky juz like the 2nd trip .. having an empty seat beside us ! that gives us additional space and of course more privacy and its worth the $$ !! 2 persons sharing 3 seats !!

They didnt allow drinks to be brought up .. instead sold us mineral water @ ridiculously high prices .. and the goddamn bottle wasnt even the normal sized ones ! Got quite pissed coz it was obviously capitalism ! I dun mind $3 , but I would expect to get a decent sized bottle . And I DID "feedback" to the pretty Stewardess , who could only manage to give a "Lan Lan , I also bo pian" reply .. Zzzz.....Z...Z..ZZZzzz.......

After 4 hours Plus ... We reached our 2nd Home again ! The temperature dropped to about 18 degrees ... And Zu Ren was there to fetch us personally again !! AhhHHahhh .. So Happy to See him .. Yakked and Yakked and he showed us his newlyborn daughter's fotos ..

He insisted on treating us to dinner , saying that he would be busy and would hope to have a good meal with us , as a way of welcoming us to Taiwan again ... Brought us to Beer 346 Factory .. a taiwanese beer Factory that served Local chilled beer and local delicacies ...

He also brought along a Taiwanese lady Ms Xu .. Who was very friendly and artistic .. but she hated to take photos ... We all had good food, LOTS of good beer that made me pee 5 times in 1 hour , good chats , good catchup on the latest situations in Taiwan .. and Zu Ren's all time favourite Ghost Stories that freaked the gals out ... and his little Ciggie Ash trick that he taught me at the toilet , to trick the girls ... Heh .. Missing him like crazy .. Juz look at him .. Ever the funny guy who is always friendly and ready to help ..

After dinner , He jioed us to Taiwanese KTV ! He Even introduced his male friend Mr Lim *Yao Ting to Nana ... who was supposedly a shy guy who doesnt smoke or drink ... but Lolz ... when he came in , he came in with ciggarettes blazing .. and drank along with us like nobody's business ..

It was a KTV buffet and we were stuffed with more food .. and the beer started to flow again .. with at least 20 cans of beer opened again for games .. and Shawna was the one who showed the "Singapore Merlion" to the Taiwanese .. And after that ... MORE beer .....

It was One Helluva of a first night in Taipei .. totally different from our 1st 2 trips .. which we went to Shihlin Night market ... Totally interesting Taiwanese nightlife ..

Wat a great way to Start 2008 !!

This time ... We tio bei pio !! $60 ... but nvm gOt win can liao !!! How did we get this number ?? Sunshine dreamt about it ... told me .. and we decided to try our luck again ! ... She dreamt that Some guy told her a set of numbers 9999 and 8888 and she somehow derived 9988 and 9998 ... And to my amazement ... We tio !! Lolz ... i didnt even bother to check ... until she called me giggling and asked if we had bought the numbers ... Lolz ... Si bei heng ..
