Was loOking forward to this meaningful day ... thinking back on those days before we got together ... the 1.5 years of her ignoring me and the relentless pursuit of her hand ... it was really a mind-blowing experience , one that really tested my patience and my determination as a guy ...

Now that I have got her hand ... I am more than thankful to have her in my life ... Nothing can describe my love and feelings ... Juz gonna let this continue forever to the best of my abilities ...

Encounter of the Ah Siao

Was going past Bishan Bus Interchange yesterday , when an auntie approached me. Intuitively , I knew she wanted money .

Auntie speaking chinese : Xiao Di , Can you help me pay for newspaper ? I wanna

read newspaper but I got no money .

Me got amused , decided to "sponsor" her newspaper.

Me speaking Chinese : ok what newspaper u wanna buy ? u select. *point to Newspaper stall* we then went to the newspaper stall .

What amazed me next was the auNtie didnt know what newspaper to buy . She asked the uncle TO RECOMMEND the newspapers for today ?? wtf ... Uncle pointed to the Straits Times.

What Happened next totally Rocked my Socks ....

Ah Siao Auntie then decided to take the Straits times ... AND PROCEEDED TO TAKE 2 COPIES OF STRAITS TIMES !! and then asked me to pay !

Me Speaking Chinese : Why are you taking 2 sets of Straits times ?? 1 Copy not enough ??

Ah Siao Auntie's Million Dollar Reply with a Stoned Look : OH because I very bored ... So I wanna read two copies of the ( SAME !! Straits Times ) Newspaper...

It then dawned upon me that this auntie was an ah siao like what Calvin would say.. I wouldnt mind paying for 2 copies of Different newspapers really ... but to give me a stupid reason that she is bored and wanna read two copies of the same newspaper ... Really amused me so much .

I then told her : Har ?? Then I Dun have $$$$ liao ... Then Ah Siao Auntie got more amazing .... " Xiao Di .... then 1 copy lah ... i read 1 copy can liao .. the OTHER COPY I dont read ...!! "

Enjoying the simple pleasures of life , shopping on a weekday afternoon...

Walked around Marina Square 3 times... juz to LooK up and down for a present for my love ... Marina Square on a sunny weekday is really much different from the weekend crowds ...

The pace of shoppers is very leisurely and the sales staff are really more attentive ...

Went inTo Lerk Thai for an afternoon lunch @ 4pm .. had the whole restaurant to myself ... the service crew were very attentive and eager to serve ... Ordered Fried Beef Kway teow and Iced Lemon tea ... TooK the longest Lunch in my life ... ate sOOo slowly , enjoying every moment and savouring every morsel of the beef . The food wasNt that fantastic .. but the mood was juz relaxed ... and LoOking @ the window view above ... Life can be so relaxing ... Partial reason was also my relief in getting something for my Sunshine ...

Best Part was the meal costed me only $6.70 for a plate of fried beef kway teow and Lemon tea + 10% Service Charge and 7% GST ! .. NOrmally , this meal would have set me back by $12 !! What a Pleasant Surprise !!

A simple shopping experience on a weekday afternoon can be so relaxing ...

An enjoyable day

Its been awhile since I did something really enjoyable ...

Last friday was one of the days that I looked forward to going for classes ... Nah .. Not a studious guy ... it juz happened to be the 3rd report submission for my projects . Cleared 3 out of 4 reports ... went through some tiring moments .. but we managed to pull through, thanks to Jennifer and kOkFai for their initiative and hardwork as well ...

KokFai , Shuiyi , Jenn and Me - Distribution Channels Group

The Distribution Channels project was a fairly heavy and tough assignment weighing 40% of our total marks ... the 4 of us went to Causeway Point a few times juz to do the project and we encountered our fair share of problems.

To celebrate our clearing of our major projects , KoKfai , Jenn and myself had planned to go KTV after submission ...because its been awhile since we all went singing together .

In the group , Kokfai , Rae and myself love to sing , bowl and play pool together... and friday was the perfect day to unwind and relax ...

Calvin , Myself , Jenn and KokFai @ Vila'ge

These few people are the good friends that I often hang out with in school ...Calvin being my SISPEC platoon mate ... Jennifer being my Product Design schoolmate in Poly ... and KoKFai .. someone that I never knew I could mix so well with ..

Calvin is my study buddy during exams .. always making time for me , coming down all the way from Woodlands to study with me @ AMK Gardens Mac until 5am each morning ... talking cock and sharing all his goOd stuff unselfishly .. "spreading his love"always ... never selfish ... and a very practical guy who is always able to tolerate my nonsense ...

Jennifer is the most diligent gal in our group ... never fails to complete her revisions, tasks and projects on time ... always giving me reminders on when to hand up tutorials and what work is to be done ... Seen some changes in her since poly ... and its probably due to her SQ days .. that changed her .. Yeah She was an Ex SIA stewardess .. unbelievable hur ?? haha we couldnt stand the sight of each other in poly .. and its sort of ironic that we become firm friends now ... And differing views we still do have ... but its how we learn to sort things out and draw clear lines...

KokFai ... my singing , pool , KTV buddy ... easy going chap who really will suit weechen ... LoLz ... the Mr Nice guy labelled by Minming ... I really got to know KokFai better during my SiS stint .. and this made me very comfortable with mixing around with him .. talking cock everyday during lectures , after lectures , during lunches . And it isnt always that someone can actually catch the joke and CONTINUE the joke ... he has this ability in him to prolong my jokes and thats how we actually come up with more nonsense each time , to while away the boring lectures ...

Anyway ... Jenn , Kokfai , Calvin and myself went for lunch @ Vila'ge to celebrate the submission of our project reports ... ordered some gOod foOd like Crepes , Seafood baked rice , Calamari rings , Pizza , baked chicken ( Yucks .. dry like hell) , Pork sausages and more !!

Enjoyed the lunch with them , sharing our food and talking more nonsense ...

After lunch , we went for a pOol session while waiting for another KTV queen , Wanhsien , whom we juz got to know this semester ...

Evening , Jennifer , kokFai , Wanhsien and myself went for KTV ... it was a slow warmup .. but We soOn broke the ice with songs ... laughter and some super orchestra performances by KoKFai and Wanhsien ...

It was one of those enjoyable evenings and overall a very enjoyable day ...

Totally hit right on the head of the nail. BUT Do they see that a group effort is the best effort ?I have 2 Urgent Ongoing reports waiting for final submission these 2 weeks .

Progress is considered smooth for 1 project while the other is a passive act with everyone waiting for someone to open the golden mouth to initiate a meeting and no one getting into the act of things.

Best of all , there is a groupmate who disappears overseas for work for the critical 10 days , whereby MOST of the work is to be done during the 10 days. Comes back with only 1 page of Microsoft Word for 10 days worth of absence , worth lots of self-conjured information that showed obvious signs of NO research. Loads more of nonsense to tolerate from him. And he is the two project groups.

Deadlines are set for Fucknuts as nobody sticks to it faithfully. With less than 2 days left , we are still only @ part 3 out of 5 ... and the various parts are still dangling out there with NO news and updates when repeated reminders were sent out to have them submitting in their parts properly completed with sentences instead of points while KF and myself were to rush out Part 4 and 5 . And KF and myself have already done Part 3 and 1 respectively.

Should really have seen it coming and just learn from previous lessons... Right from the beginning, Nobody gave a Fuck , Nobody bothered , juz waited til last minute, someone would definitely clear the shit. It seemed that other projects were more important to them and for the overseas groupmate , it seemed to me that he simply cannot be bothered with the projects , knowing somehow he will be able to clear it by riding on the Cheap ( not free since he did "some" work) bus ride. Someone would definitely clear the shit.This time , the arrows juz got to KF and me ..

Enough is Enough. No more grouping with these people.

Are they plain stupid or Am I too Witty?

It Seemed like my acerbic tongue was very active yesterday ... my friends said i was alil cranky yester-morning ( new word ) ..

It all happened so naturally ... a chat session during lecture break with Calvin outside school resulted in the 1st encounter... I was somehow holding onto my cup of tea behind my back , and it juz spilt over my legs . One of the girls ( quite pretty ) nearby saw the boOobOo and excited squealed in excitement and told her friends.

I was embarrassed , but somehow , I juz opened my mouth and told her in a big smile ... " Oh Never Mind, Shit Happens... Oh Btw, juz a suggestion , The next time you wanna laugh @ other's misfortune , you might wanna make sure you laugh behind their backs , Not in front of them."

IT WAS HER TURN TO BE EMBARRASSED !! She managed a sheepish smile @ me and seeked some cover from her friends ! So stupid to get caught laughing at others. The tables were turned on her, she ended up more embarrrassed than me.

As What Calvin said , so stupid to laugh so near the "victim" , and GET CAUGHT for it .

2nd Incident happened soOon after we weNt back into Class ... One of the Geeky LOoking lecturemates sitting directly in front of me brought his S*msung Laptop in a laptop bag with the WORD S*MSUNG Staring @ everyone ... OH Ya .. It had a big Padlock on the bag. LOlz

The Cockster was stupid enough to lay the Laptop bag behind him , directly @ my feet .. ( I was wearing slippers) .. and He saw his bag touching my feet ... STARED @ my feet , STARED @ his Bag and Stared @ my feet again Like a mechanised Robot head !!

I got pissed off and i asked him politely " Do you wanna shift your bag to somewhere else because i am afraid I will kick it " ..

The Cockster picked up his bag , didnt know where else to put his lappy bag ( when there was ample space JUST beside him ) ... He ended up hugging the Lappy Bag on his lap. What an idiot !
My legs were Not sticking out of place , he was simply stupid to place his bag out of his rightful space and had the cheek to stare @ me and my feet , hinting that i should remove my feet from his precious bag?

Two little Fiascos in the morning made my life more interesting with new experiences gained in handling silly girls and stupid fools .

Where to go In Small Small Singapore ?

It isnt easy keeping girlfriends happy ... having to find new places every weekend to go shopping .. go eat .. go find new novelties to do ...

I often wonder where to bring mine to ... on weekends ... on weekdays ... what can we do ? No car ... no licence .... and the timings are tight ...

AnyOne reading this can suggest Interesting places and nice food/restaurants to go ??? Luckily i already have my 2nd Anniversary night dinner planned out .... But then .. there is always the next Year's dinner (hopefully )
