JinGle Bells , JinGle Bells , Cycle all the Way ...

4 mad people went to Pulau Ubin to cycle on Xmas eve morning , knowing that there would be rain , they wouldnt be able to stay dry ... but they went anyway ... YEAH , that was us alrite ...

All Efforts have been made to cover up their not-so-slim areas .. arbo they will complain I choose lousy fotos to post on blog ...Hahah ..

The weather was really quite bad ... decided to enjoy our Changi Nasi Lemak @ Ubin Jetty , before renting our bikes ... Cycle in the rain lor ... quite cooling anyway ...

Became Chaffeur for the day , because Ms NaNa dun know how to cycle ...( I have only given rides to a few lucky girls in my life ) So she became the 5th lucky lady who received a ride from me ..

Cycled to Noordin Beach via the adventurous route through the route to the old NPCC Campsite gate ... which turned out to be fun but quite dangerous really ...

Hidden Danger to inexperienced cyclists , who could simply cycle into the river ...

Cycled past the old rubber plantation , which was muddy & slippery .. and past the old sluice gates , which were letting out excess water @ gushing speeds ...

The River banks were overflowing , and the route was flooded with the river water .... It was quite a scary sight as we couldnt be sure whether the route ahead was dangerous .

I assessed the situation, considered my options and decided to push on ... Reminded the girls constantly to be aware of their surroundings and look where they were cycling into ..

Along the way , Shawna Slipped and fell into the mud ... a 1.5 m long monitor lizard crossed our paths ... but we managed to get out of the danger zone safely .

The rain didnt manage to douse our spirits , ( not @ least for Sunshine , Weewee & me ) ... even Nana also kept her own morale high , by laughing and giggling non stop , and pedalled hard whenever I told her to KEEP PEDALLING !!! ... and we cleared slopes after slopes ...

My 3 bOoOtiful Wifes ....

Brought them to the tianchi Quarry to have a quickie ... look ... snap some nice fotos ... before we called it a day ... still a fantastic view to behold ... We left for mainland Soon after ..

Went to Orchard Cineleisure @ midnight , to soak in the Xmas atmosphere ... It was really quite happening , as everyone was out in the streets partying ... spraying passerbys with the foam & confetti sprays ...

You could see funny happenings everywhere ... I saw one Indian/ Bangala spraying @ a group of chinese guys & gals ... and the group immediately returned fire by zua-ing the Indian's face ... until the foam accumulated into a thick floft ...

Tsk Tsk tsk .. really reminds me of XiaXue's long long time ago entry ... on the Foreign workers spraying confetti @ the girls' eyes , then groping their titties when they are disorientated by the sprays ...

Saw a fight between some chinese outside Cineleisure ,, throwing punches & flying kicks ...... Saw a group of Indians yelling & shouting outside Mini toons .. making a fool of themselves , but not for long ... the plainclothes police & their backup arrived soon after ... to check their IDs ...

Went for KTV from 2pm til 6pm ...damn tired .... and Blogspot is screwing up again .. I cant post up my Pastamania fotos .... Argh ,..

a Nice goOd Xmas dinner

Went shopping with Shawna & Sunshine @ Heerens , decided to go to Vil-age ( Old Marche ) to have a good dinner , as SunShine was craving for Rosti .

Not really in the mood to do nice photoshop

Ordered quite abit of food ... it seems we lost control . Ordered a Ham & cheese Crepe , stir-fried veg in Oyster Sauce, Black pepper Boneless Chix Leg , Rosti Comb with 2 Sausages & Egg & a Baked Seafood Rice .

** Little Incident : SunShine & Shawna ordered a Crepe ... the order took very long ... So me and Sunshine went back to collect the crepe later . Unknown to us ... the waiter provided Good service by delivering the crepe to Shawna. On our side , we collected another crepe .

We ended up with 2 crepes .We spoke to the waiter , to return one crepe .. but decided to take the 2 crepes , as their service was really quite ok as in he was nice to deliver it to us . So we bought 2 ...

** Service @ the baked Seafood rice section Sucked . They were poorly organised , and didnt control the situation. They juz took orders , and baked the rice .. when it was ready , they juz placed the dishes on the table , and people who ordered later , jumped the queues and simply grabbed the ones that came out piping hot . Damn .. i missed out on @ least 2 plates of Seafood rice .

Overall an ok experience .. but they really gotta improve their service , considering the kind of amount they charge . but it was a good feast to wash away the monday blues !

WE WON !!! WE WON !!! Remember the Sexpo we went to ?? Phil received a call saying he won $250 worth of vouchers , from the lucky Draw of the SEXPO . Damn , I guess Phil gets really lucky ... especially after I post the Sexperv pic of him on the blog , the entry gets published in the news , and we get free vouchers !!

Heart-wrenched

It was a rainy evening ...

Raindrops fell mercilessly, cooling off the tarred roads .. steaming up the humid air..

Vehicles zoomed past without a care in the world , while thousands of legs walked past
her , occasionally stealing a peek @ her wares .

Old Grandma was sitting @ her usual spot @ Bugis Traffic lights .Quietly took out a $2 note that I promised myself that I would pass to her , the next time I saw her .

As we approached closer to her in the rain , a sorrowful wail filled the air .

Old Grandma was wailing & lamenting @ her own pitiful plight... She was so upset , that even a $2 note couldnt relieve some of her sadness .

I walked away , wondering why was she crying so loudly ...

............. Then i realised ... that the rain probably greatly reduced her chances of selling anything for the night ....

Its been a mind-blowing week for me ....

Completed our 2nd Taipei trip (06 Dec 06 - 11 Dec 06 ) just 5 mths after the 1st trip ( 1st trip was 7th Jul 06 to 12 Dec 06 ) ....

Then Resumed Shooting Practice after a long long standoFF today !! simply an enjoyable week doing all my favourite stuffs with SunShine and with friends ..

IPSC Shooting

Did IPSC Shooting with Hougang Sec NPCC Unit today ... Sort of happy to see NPCC people taking part in the sport ... Lots of comments on today .. but have feedback my comments to the our team .. So Will juz share photos of the shoot .

The Pistol replicas that we use .... Looks very very much and works very very much like real guns .

Was on the bus this morning , when I received an sms from the most unexpected person -- Phillip the TigerMan himself !

" Eh , your Sexpo entry made it to the newspaper ! " ..

I was stumped . When did I submit in any article to the newspaper ? Went to office .. grabbed the newspapers to get an idea of what happened .

OoOoo ... It was a surprise ... because to me , Shootmyfoot.blogspot.com is juz a venue for me to release my thoughts and pent-up feelings .. and mostly filled with my grumbles on the ugly things i see each day ..

Anyway .. throughout the day ... was pleasantly surprised by smses from friends , who smsed to congratulate / inform me about the published entry ... Then i realised that my blog was actually read by more people than I think ...and it was surprising to know that these friends have read my blog entries ..

** Not really a big deal .. but it somehow feels good to know that my views were good enough to be published on the papers ... ( or was my comments too blunt that the reporter thought that it would be good to use the entry as a very strong negative comment ? ) ... hahah ..

The results for 1st Semester are out !! Ahead of Schedule !! .... ** Drum Roll Please !!! ****

1. MacroEconomics --- Distinction
2. Principles of Marketing -- Distinction
3. Introductory Accounting -- Credit .

Was very pleasantly surprised by the results !! Was expecting either passes or credits for all 3 modules ... as I felt that I cramped the whole semester into 1 week to revise ... And if it wasnt for my classmates like Calvin , Jennifer , kokfai and Candice who all taught me in 1 way or another ... I probably would have surrendered @ the exam halls .

@ Least I can go enjoy myself in Taipei in peace , without worrying about bad results ! And Mummy and Daddy seem satisfied with the results .

For those who go Bugis quite often , You would probably have seen this frail-looking old grandma who displays and peddles her wares ( often useless stuff ) ... and sits herself down from morning to night @ the traffic lights connecting Bugis Village and Bugis Seiyu .

I have seen her on many occasions in the day .. and still sitting there @ nights , in the same posture and same sitting position, enduring the relentless heat , the fumes from the vehicles .. and the cold nights .

Encountered a real Bastard two nights ago @ the traffic lights outside Seiyu Bugis . I walked past the old lady with SunShine ... and suddenly I heard the Flicking sound *distinctive ting* of a coin ... followed by a short giggle ...

THE BLOODY BASTARD FLICKED a 20-Cent Coin @ the old grandma and giggled with his female friend ! My Heart Sank .... HOW COULD HE BEAR to Insult the little dignity left in the old lady ? As usual , I had the urge to F him , but never took the next step ....

She was earning an honest living , peddling her goods ... and the scumbag just flicked the coin @ her ! And the coin didnt reach the old grandma , who buried her own head into her elbows ... probably given up hope on selling her wares ...

After walking around Bugis Village ... we passed by the traffic lights again ... SunShine and I dug our wallets and came up with a small token of $1.00 for the old grandma .

I was too affected by the earlier incident .. that I asked SunShine to do the giving .. Sunshine went infront of the Old grandma .. put the coins in front of her .. but she didnt have any reaction . SunShine gentlely tapped her wrists ... and She woke up , visibly disturbed from her sleep .

But Old grandma soon broke out into a grateful smile as she saw the little amount of money ... To think about it ... I felt guilty ... I regretted not giving her alittle more money ... I think I hope to See her again, and probably give her some money , when I go to Guanyin temple @ Bugis street to give thanks for my exams and my upcoming Taipei trip .. when I come back ...

And to the bloody bastard who flicked the coin @ her .... You will get your retributions ! Lousy Bastard with No compassion... I CURSE you Get Your JuST DESSERTS !!

Shall log off now .. to catch some sleep before I Chiong Taipei Tomorrow !!! WooOhOOoO !! Here I Come Again !!

Project SuperStar = Richest Contestant wins .

Juz finished watching Project SuperStar 's results ....

for the 2nd week running ...Contestants who have done well during their performances ... Got axed .. while less deserving ones stayed in the race ...

This situation reminds me of what a certain friend Said ... about Rank , Power & Position . For that one person to climb to the throne .... There are thousands of others who got stepped and acted as a ladder for him/her to step upon . We Do Not Know how many persons were sacrificed .. Juz for that one person ..

Somehow ... Capabilities & talent may not be the ultimate factor in deciding whether U get to be the SuperStar .. or The Highest commanding OFFicer .

Just look @ Project SuperStar ... Contestants get kicked out , NOT BY the 5 judges ... but by the very INGENIOUS Money-Generating Idea of handphone voting . The audience are a sure source of increasing the station's viewership and also a very lucrative source of income .

You hear the comperes telling you that your favourite contestant gets butted out of the competition , NOT BY THEIR OWN SINGING CAPABILITIES , but by the number of votes that YOU send to support them .

In my personal Opinion , Project SuperStar becomes a very ridiculous competition in which talented singers and performers get kicked out juz because they can't generate enough votes .

You may tell me : Oh .. they get kicked out because they do not appeal to the crowds . So no one votes for them .
I tell You : Yeah My Arse . I think it is a clear cut case of an advantage to the contestants who can well afford to pay for thousands of $0.60 SmSes to buy votes. Juz prepare a certain amount of money every week , or simply gather all your classmates / friends to vote for you .. Offering to pay half their bills for the month .. or paying them whatever amount theY voted for you ..

NO limits from 1 particular Handphone number each week .. So where/ what is the value of EACH vote ? The only value is the revenue to the Service provider and the sponsors .

What For Work So hard ? What For Practise and Sing in front of the mirror ? What For practise your pitches? What For Stand on Stage and shit in your pants .. and let others dent your self-esteem .. WHEN OTHER CONTESTANTS Do not win by merit or virtue ... but thru the power of the $$ Cash $$

• I dun disagree with the $0.60 per vote . But what value is there in each vote when you get to vote unlimited times for a contestant ? Why Not Limit 1 vote per Handphone number ? I think it is a more accurate way of judging how popular each contestant is !

• They are NOT transparent in releasing the results/ Statistics of votes each week for Each Contestant !how the hell do people know theY are faring ?? Only Way to ensure their friend gets in , is to vote and vote and vote and vote and vote ... Need I carry on? vote and vote and vote lah !

To the poorer contestants , the SuperStar Dream will just be a dream or a journey .. while the richer contestants will find this path alittle too easy to walk ..

It is a case of " Who has THE RICHEST Parents WINS "
