Life can be such a pain ....

4 X Sausage Muffin Egg meals, 6Xapple pies, 7X Large Lemon Teas , 4X Bah Chor Mees ... total damage done during my revision hours overnight at AMK Gdn Macs so far ...

Perspiring heavily from the walk back home from AMK ... My mind heavy with thoughts from the previous day and night's events ... The walk back home @ 5.15am in the morning is a refreshing one ... with the rain cooling down the temperature .. making the walk back home a chilling one ...

Finished yet another night of revisions at AMK Gdn mac ... Into the 2nd Paper ... Mind cant seem to aborb much .. quite bothered by a sad piece of news that happened to one of my bros ...was really quite shocked to hear that he had broken off with his girlfriend of nearly 4 years.

We were all quite shocked as they were perceived to be a very compatible couple amongst the group .. and everyone were very envious. So the breakup came as a bombshell to me. Incompatibility was given as the reason , which made me scared and worried . Even CK got troubled by the news.

We were both worried about the uncertainties of life .. and also the uncertainties of reality .. that laid ahead in our love lives .. Incompatibility is a common reason or excuse for breakups ...or so it seems ..

but .. when 2 people are in love ... is it for the long haul ? or short term pleasures ?I would think its the values that the couple hold .. and the foundation that they have built together as a couple ..and the communication and understanding that they have for each other ... that bonds the relationship .. I would think that If in love ... the onus is on the couple to Communicate and maintain the relationship ... and take an active approach in solving issues and problems calmly and rationally .. for the good of the relationship .

Any unsolved issue that is continually cast aside .. would only strain the relationship ... impeding the growth and progress of the relationship ... I strongly believe it is fate/a chance to be together as a couple ... and the value of Love shouldnt be reduced to nothing more than an excuse to end the relationship .

As the chinese saying goes , It takes a 100 years to cultivate a chance to take a boat ride together ... It takes 1000 years to cultivate a chance to share a bed together. Alrite .. People are more liberal now , theY sleep and bonk easily ... but it is those who See the meaningful purpose of being together ... they are the ones who will cherish a relationship .

They say people change over time. I believe that if a couple change together over time, they will move on and change together as a couple, growing together and progressing together in the relationship .

I will try to bear that in mind. Hopefully Sunshine feels the same way too.

Its Been awhile ...

Its been awhile since I updated anything .... since our 2nd Anniversary ... Everything went well and smooth ... although it deviated much from my plans ...

Had a nice dinner with a classy ambience at WakaShaChiya , A Japanese Curry Udon Restaurant with 64 outlets all over Japan , and ITS FIRST INTERNATIONAL OUTLET in Singapore !

Ordered the Grilled Unagi Set with 4 different types of eating the grilled eel @$18 .. while sunshine ordered the Curry Karaage Udon ... with rich and thick gravy .. NICE !

Bought my Sunshine a little sumthing that was within my means ( its real diamond ok ! Dun play play ) ... + Handmade Chocolates moulded inTo shapes of Hearts and Teddy Bears ... May not be worth much .. but promised her a better one next time when i got more $$$$$....

2nd attempt was better . First attempt failed , with boiling Caramel hardened .. So hard that it could be a bulletproof material ... Buy Chocolate to melt .. DUN BUY CARAMEL !

Recently completed a 2 day abseiling course ... gained alot of confidence in heights .. and the confidence in gearing myself up for abseiling .. and having the guts to abseil down 4 storeys height ...

The abseiling part is easy. Stepping UP to the parapet and OUT OF the parapet is the gutsy part .. and it was really Confidence-boosting .. to be able to do it . One Challenging part was the Lock + Thigh Wrap ... which I struggled during practice , but managed to do it Juz in one attempt during the practical test !

Mike told me that he was amazed that I did it within 1 attempt when I was struggling during my practice. I simply told him ... SImple ... Desperate Situations Call for Desperate Measures ... Do or DIE ! hahah .. but it was really much easier doing it while Hanging off the wall ...

Exams blues are coming again ... Not much of a mood to revise ... and with the shadows of a repeat module haunting me ... its really scary ... I cant find motivation to face the failed module .. and having to retake the exams ... is quite a daunting task ...

Probably wun be updating until after Nov 9th ...

LOoking forward to November ... for Work back in SiS again ... earn some money ... and GO TAIPEI for the 3rd Time again in January 2008 !!! Taipei ... Here I Come again !
