A Hectic and Busy Month Of May

Its been a Hectic and busy month of May .. 3 weddings ... 2 baby showers .. and loads of work.


Work has been progressive .. meeting up with more valued partners, having lunches , interaction , getting to know more people.


One thing worth looking forward to was JR's wedding .. We did a mini bachelor night that saw JR and myself zonked out by Flaming lambos (2 for everyone, 3 for JR) .. 2 Jugs Long Island tea and Jagerbombs for everyone .. @ our usual Mambo Jambo Zoukie .. It was the reunion of the JLC faithfuls .. that brought Phil, KX , JR and myself back together.

Special thanks to Phil who sent JR and myself back .. Couldnt remember anything else , except him telling the uncle "$$$$$ IS NOT AN ISSUE , IMPORTANT is to SEND MY 2 brothers back !"

Gone long way back with this JLC kaki .. back to the days where JR , Phil , KX and myself went drinking every friday and saturday when I book out ... to our fav haunt called JLC @ Tanjong Pagar , opened by Quan Yifeng's former brother-In-Law ..

Operation Blue Skies turned out well .. good weather .. cloudy skies though we still felt the heat .. as compared to Operation Phantom Thunder .. Knnz .. the thunder, lightning and heavy rain came.

The SG/ Malaysia Contingent .. They were damn experienced players .

The SIngapore contingent ..

Body Count for the day was 7 kills .. Had a couple of good kills without Alan , who always fails to turn up when you need him .. Sprang surprises at the enemies who were busy attacking the objective ..and kept pinning down the enemy and shooting on the move .. these are things that i always crave for .. and the satisfaction of getting a kill while executing these tactics gives me immense satisfaction.

Highlight of the Day would be the vehicular rescue/Assault . We were tasked to rescue a downed pilot trapped behind enemy lines.. I became the GPMG gunner with full auto A5 while Red Storm covered my back on the truck .. We moved down the hill juz like in Black Hawk Down .. where they moved in convoys ..

We soon took heavy fire and we returned fire generously full auto .. The truck took alot of paint and so did I .. but only a headshot would take me out ..

We still got pelted and we lost the vehicle .. The pilot was captured .. BUT WHO CARES ? It was a great game.

Its Gonna Be A Busy Week Ahead!

Sorta settled in @ work , getting accustomed to all the customer/ vendor / reseller meetings, slowly getting into the thick of action ... taking on more responsiblities and getting ON TOP of things, albeit still trying to get on top ..but no where near.

This week would be a short workweek , with JR's big day on friday .. applied for my 1st "Leave" @ Work .. gotta say they were quite nice to allow me to take leave, considering I am still under probation. Cant wait to get confirmed and get more familiar with my product ... Yet I know its gonna take time.

Gonna be fetching the bride Joanne from JB ..into Singapore ..... Been a brother for many of my bros .. Ronnie , YongQuan and other friends ... this would be the first time that I would needa bring my passport along ..

Met up with rest of the bros , including F4 people like Wilson and Phil ... and we are gearing ourselves mentally for JR's big day. It just feels good when a bro gets hitched and good to see the other bros supporting each other in terms of contributing $$$ , time and effort just to help our bro for the big day. It happens for every bro's wedding... unless the guy happens to be an arsehole. Heh.

Emcee responsibilities for the evening dinner also falls on my shoulders ... Would be speaking in mandarin .. Although I am effectively multi-lingual , it just seems weird to communicate with everyone in mandarin. I hope I dun screw up, otherwise I would switch to Hokkien and turn it into a 7th Month event .. Whahaha ...

Overwhelmed @ work ..

Its been a busy day .. started the day late, went to meet up with partners , enduser and vendor.. WHOLE day ...

so shagged, stressed and overwhelmed.. Had alot of difficulties trying to remember names and faces .. Followed by a sumptous but stressful lunch with bosses and managers and partners.. Stressful.

Kena a sudden surprise during the afternoon meeting. Kena bombarded with cheeem technical questions by enduser .. really feels damn stupid when you have nothing but a WTF face for the customer..

I need enlightenment from the Product Guru soon. Bless me man

Into the world of Work

Begun working .. officially stepped into the world of work .. Been busy burning up product manuals then drinking the ashes .. understanding the product knowledge ..Job scope very different from what I used to do for Microsoft . More responsibilities on my shoulders now .

Colleagues have been very nice and happening .. been to 3 paintball games with them so far .. I cant exactly say I have been enjoying paintball lately .. due to some fucked up reasons .. Gotta decide what next soon.

Til then .. fuck blogspot .. coz it just hung on me and didnt allow me to upload fotos.

JB Go-Kart trip + Seafood + Earth Hour

This blog aint dead .. Just didnt get enuff inspiration to update , too much events .. too much thoughts to pen down into writing .. finally got motivated to share some good food and fun in JB .. apart from Paintball . Johor Tourism Board should thank and sponsor me man .. I wouldnt mind some FOC paintballs..

Went Go-Karting .. Went to the Go-karting circuit in Johor Permas Jaya .. Only to find out it shifted to Kampong Plentong .. 9km Further inwards from the old site .. with last 3km very challenging terrain of rocks and potholes ..

Cab Fare from JB customs = RM$35 .. totally reasonable considering the freaking long journey and the bumpy roads ( last 3 km) require alot of efforts from the cab driver ..

We finally reached the Ulu Ulu new circuit @ 1800H ... nearly sunset ... but we quickly jumped into the action .. Some minor hit and kena bang accident happened .. I always the suay one .. kena banged by other go-karts .. happened previously with CK .. and now .. our shawna..

But nevertheless .. Heng no need to compensate this time round and they still provided good service to us even after the minor accident. Fantastic.

Sunshine and her #16 Car .. Oh .. she wore shorts .. so nothing to get disappointed over the mosaic ..

It was saturday .. and It was Earth Hour .. Jusco Tebrau gamely took part in the Earth Hour Event.. Most shops gamely switched off the lights ..

We went back to our favourite Taman Sri Tebrau Food market for fantastic seafood as usual . wen Ji as usual is our favourite stall .. with the friendly boss borrowing 2 big crabs for us when he finished his supply of big crabs. Small sotongkias deepfried , veg , Crayfish deepfried with cereals , egg Omelettes, Stingray .. total damage only S$17 each. SONG enough for me .

Facets of Mt KK

Smooth Start to the Niu 牛 Year

Its been a smooth start to the 牛 year ..

Started off the 1st month with a mini worktrip to HK .. coupled with some Airsoft wargames that really kicked ass .. ( not mine of course) .. with 7 confirmed ( some godlike enemies didnt die) kills and 6000bbs expended ..

Up next was CNY 2009 .. very very smooth I must say .. won $340 overall .. and finally brought SunShine over to See my 101 year old grandma .. and held yet another successful annual hse opening for my NPCC buddies , close friends and Fucker4 and partners ..

Have been doing this since 2006 to provide a venue for everyone to gather, eat n have fun ( read: gamble). Honestly isnt easy when you have to scratch your head and wonder how to buy food and what to provide for 28 pax .. and thats only preparation.. The aftermath is always a headache after everyone leaves ..

But wat makes it worthwhile is the smile on everyone's faces n the fun and laughter for those few precious hours we share , to catch up on the previous year's Happenings.

The invitation list got bigger and But the exclusivity wasn't lost. Some lost their invitation rights ( Oh Yeah) while others got theirs this year and I wasnt kidding when I said seats were limited and I had to reject people. I can only say I only have limited capabilities and I am sorry if you werent invited .. If you were invited .. It wasnt an accident... and thank you for coming.

Spent sunday fooling around Clarke Quay since Sunshine was out of town .. went for Wargh!dogs team training .. Comms training with practical sessions around BQ and CQ .. ran around tracking targets and characters .. walked , ran and seeked up and low for the elusive targets .. to practise on our communication skills on the walkie talkies ..

Call us siao, crazy but it sure will come useful on the fields when we spot tangoes and do the proper comms to our team.. @ least @ Bukit Ramly ..

Ended the training with an interesting Lou Hei by the river ... yelled huat ah to our wishes of more gals joining us in woodsball ( Disappointed ? Hahah ) .. more headshots to our enemies .. cheaper paintballs and more powerful markers for our pickings... HUAT AH !

Damn We entertained the tourists for quite awhile.
