Suicide Drama ...

So Damn Drama yesterday ... I regretted not Wacking that bastard with a broomstick ..

Yesterday ( monday night ) ... I finished bathing .. Heard a commotion downstairs ... sounded like a kid crying and yelling : " Don't die !! " numerous times

I thought it was a traffic accident downstairs ... and wanted to take a look , all prepared to Call the ambulance ...

I Opened my door ... and WAS SHOCKED TO SEE a 50++ year old Indian man with one leg over the parapet !! He Shouted down : I die !

Immediately I closed my door and Called the Police ...

** my neighbours walked past soon after .... and the Police and Fire brigade soon arrived ** ... I opened my door and Saw NO ONE @ the parapet ... but of course ... No suicide ..

By then , 2 police officers and a few firemen came up to my storey ... and I informed the cops that i was the one who dialled for them .

The situation was tense as everyone was trying to find the "suicidal" idiot ... I described his looks ( botak , 50 ++ years old with shorts ... ) It was juz a one second glimpse ... as I was shocked to See that Indian Guy with his leg over the parapet .

*** Closed the door soon after ... and left the cops to do their job *** but apparently that was it .

** After Action Review **

My mum chided me for bringing the whole Gingang of Fire brigade and Police in .... Small issue blown big. I felt otherwise . She completely didnt See the Bigger picture ...

If the Bloody Selfish bastard jumped :

1. resale value of our whole block of flats would have plummeted. My block is a very valuable block .. 5 mins walk from Bishan Bus Interchange... with facilities all nearby
2. Emotional trauma caused to whoever saw his dead body downstairs ... whoever was nearby and witnessed his fall to death , and my whole block of flats ... I bet everyone will be jittery ..
3. Ghost stories are sure to surface ... and Fuck ... I go home late every alternate day ... I Dun wanna see his spirit stuck @ my parapet .. forever jumping off in infinite loop .
4. My auntie has already been so frightened that she never stepped out of the house today ... Effects are already showing .. exaggerating but true ...

We will be the ones suffering if he really fell . I think I was right in calling in the cops . I cannot afford to wait for him to fall to his death before I call in the cops to do the cleaning up ... too late by then. I cannot afford to let such a thing even happen.

Wilson was right to say luckily he ran off . Better to have him run off , then to have him really stuck @ the parapet with the police coaxing him for hours ... or having the cops busily pickingup his bits and pieces of grey matter under my void deck .
