Operation Red Vs Blue 23 Nov 200X

Went up to JB on Sunday for a Malaysia-Singapore Friendly Scenario paintball game under the Wargh! banner..
Reached late with Kelly and Alan due to the terrible jam @ Woodlands Checkpoint .. but reached there with a pleasant surprise awaiting us .. Our favourite Bukit Ramly was transformed into a warzone .. with very well organised admin tents and nettings ..

There were at least 50 others from Singapore , Malaysia , Philippines , Australia? Mexico already there .. and we had missed out on the 1st mission where we were supposed to play defence.
2nd Mission was to attack up Bukit Ramly .. aka Hamburger Hill .. our "section" of 7 were to advance along the bottom road .. but were soon pinned by snipers and heavy "auto" gunfire .. It was a painful long wait before Alan and myself pushed up the roads while our Pinoy teammates bashed through up the slopes while we covered them.
Pushing forward .. we were engaged and a hail of paintballs rained upon us in the bushes.. and *piak* One ball exploded on my kneepad .. and Damn .. dead ..

Some of our Friendly counterparts ... This group was less than half the Actual size ! The rest were busy eating , gearing up ..

Some of us Singaporean Participants ... before the game ...

Mission 3 was my most enjoyable Mission .. teamed up with Kelly, Alan and Andy to take up high position @ the shack ( refer to pic ) .. while Gordon, some of our Pinoy comrades n malaysian comrades took up positions below by the trees .
As the "air raid" siren wailed to signal the start of the game.. everyone tightened their grips around theirmarkers to brace for the assault. The attackers had already struck fear with their full-auto paintball guns.. but we couldnt care more .. Barricades have been set up .. and we would have to be the last stand ..
It didnt take long for the first shots to ring out .. and Soon enuff , everyone was yelling directions to engage at enemies.. Paintballs flew to and fro fast and furious .. splattering in all directions. Our shack took a few direct hits ( What the hell , the enemies came THAT CLOSE )
The pontianaks must have hated us soOo much because we "painted" their trees orange, sending hails of paintballs towards the enemy positions.. while they skeltered for cover. The hilly terrain and slippy ground made it tough for the enemies to advance while the high rate of fire from the enemies posed very dangerous threats to our defenders Being formidable opponents .. they didnt stay long at one location .. and darted around to distract our defenders. The pinoy defenders fought valiantly and traded their "lives" to hold their positions.
Both sides took heavy casualties. We were kept constantly on our toes for somewhat seemed like hours .. til I heard the crackle from the marshal's walkie saying 5 mins left .. We defended our stronghold yelling out 5 more mins .. to encourage everyone to HOLD HOLD HOLD at ALL COSTS ! ...
And soon after .. Victory was won .. Kudos to the Defenders .. and I Salute the attackers for their determination and gumption to take down the objective at All COSTS.
Fantastic Experience .Worth every bit of trouble crossing the causeway juz to play with Passionate Wargamers

Dinner was nice @ Ulu Tiram Indra ... Shiok .. Thats all I can say ...

Mambo XMG out
